Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan

Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (TKR) adalah jurusan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang berfokus pada pembelajaran tentang perawatan, perbaikan, dan sistem kerja kendaraan bermotor, khususnya mobil. Jurusan ini sangat cocok bagi siswa yang memiliki minat di bidang otomotif dan ingin menjadi mekanik atau teknisi kendaraan profesional.

Materi yang Dipelajari di Jurusan TKR
Siswa yang mengambil jurusan TKR akan mempelajari berbagai aspek otomotif, seperti:

  • -Dasar-dasar Otomotif – Mengenal komponen utama kendaraan dan prinsip kerja mesin.
  • -Pemeliharaan dan Perbaikan Mesin Kendaraan – Teknik servis ringan hingga overhaul mesin mobil.
  • Sistem Pemindah Tenaga – Mempelajari komponen seperti kopling, transmisi, dan diferensial.
  • Sistem Kelistrikan Kendaraan – Memahami sistem starter, pengisian, dan pencahayaan mobil.
  • Sistem Suspensi dan Kemudi – Memahami cara kerja shock absorber, power steering, dan kaki-kaki kendaraan.
  • Sistem Rem dan Keselamatan – Mempelajari teknologi pengereman seperti ABS dan sistem hidrolik.
  • Teknologi Injeksi Bahan Bakar – Memahami cara kerja sistem EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection).
  • Diagnosa Kerusakan Kendaraan – Menggunakan alat scan dan teknologi komputerisasi untuk analisis masalah pada mobil.

  • Keahlian selalu dibutuhkan – Perawatan kendaraan merupakan kebutuhan utama masyarakat.
  • Praktik langsung di bengkel sekolah atau industri – Siswa mendapatkan pengalaman kerja nyata.
  • Bisa menjadi wirausaha – Lulusan TKR dapat membuka bengkel sendiri setelah lulus.
  • Dapat melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi – Jurusan Teknik Otomotif, Teknik Mesin, atau Manajemen Otomotif.

Peluang Kerja Lulusan TKR

  • Lulusan TKR dapat bekerja sebagai:
  • Mekanik atau Teknisi Otomotif di bengkel resmi seperti Toyota, Honda, atau Mitsubishi.
  • Teknisi di Industri Otomotif – Pabrik perakitan mobil dan motor.
  • Spesialis Sistem Kelistrikan Otomotif – Bekerja dalam bidang elektronik kendaraan modern.
  • Wirausaha Bengkel Mobil – Membuka usaha perbaikan dan servis kendaraan.
  • Petugas Uji Emisi dan Inspeksi Kendaraan – Bekerja di bidang keselamatan transportasi.
  • Teknisi Asuransi Kendaraan – Menilai dan memperbaiki mobil dalam klaim asuransi.
